In the kitchen area with the activity bench, children have direct access to the weekly cooking workshop.

Here we get to know the ingredients, read recipes, mix, knead, prepare, measure, weigh, and learn by playing! Children are trained in pre-math concepts, practice the skills needed for daily living activities such as how to prepare a meal, how to cook it, while washing and putting away the cooking utensils.

They are introduced to pre-reading and writing concepts as they record recipes in the form of collage, papercutting and drawing, creating their own cookbook which they can refer to anytime they need it. They are oriented and educated on nutrition and good hygiene, while developing and cultivating their senses, especially taste and smell.
